We are delighted to announce that 24th TRIPLE HELIX Conference Hong Kong 2026, jointly organized with the 3rd GRIFE Annual Conference will be hosted by the Global Research Institute for Finnish, European and Global South Education (GRIFE) of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) from 14 to 16 November 2026 .
This prestigious event will convene under the theme “Co-Creating Resilient Futures: Rethinking Education, Innovation, and Society”. This theme calls for a re-examination of the collaborative models between universities, industry, government, and civil society. The conference will serve as a dynamic platform to forge strategies for building inclusive, sustainable, and resilient societies.
As a flagship event celebrating the 10th anniversary of EdUHK’s retitling (2016–2026), the conference underscores the University’s strategic transformation into a globally engaged, innovation-oriented institution. It will gather leading scholars, policymakers, industry innovators, and practitioners from around the world to bridge the realms of education policy, innovation ecosystems, and societal development.

Triple Helix Association (THA)
The Triple Helix Association (THA) aims to promote and disseminate scientific findings generated by interaction between academy-industry-government, enhancing research and innovation globally. In addition, to lead the networking among its members, such as entrepreneurial universities, smart governments, efficient industry and committed civil Society. It targets to become the Global Reference on Triple Helix knowledge, for Scholars, Practitioners and Policy Makers regarding the network and Interaction between Academy-Industry-Government.

The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK)
The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) is a publicly funded university dedicated to advancing education and research. Globally recognised for excellence in education, EdUHK ranks 2nd in Asia and 7th in the World in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026.
It is dedicated to the advancement of learning and teaching, through a diverse offering of academic and research programmes on teacher education and complementary social sciences and humanities disciplines to nurture educators and social leaders who are intellectually active, socially caring, and globally aware, to become agents of change in the communities that they serve. The Global Research Institute for Finnish, European and Global South Education (GRIFE)
The Global Research Institute for Finnish, European and Global South Education (GRIFE) is under EdUHK. Originally established as the Global Research Institute for Finnish Education, GRIFE has evolved into a vital platform for research on education futures, teacher professionalism, phenomenon-based learning, sustainable development, and fostering connections between European and Asian education communities.
GRIFE’s mission is to promote international dialogue on how educational innovation and talent development respond to and shape the sustainable development agenda from Chinese, Finnish, and global perspectives.
GRIFE is delighted to co‑host this joint conference with THA.
